Watchmen: The Movie

Lucky, it’s still in theater so I was able to catch it last Saturday. It’s a very long movie about three hours but being a comicbook geek, I think its worth the time lols, ofcourse I enjoyed watching.

One of the best selling Graphic Novels of all time, the only Graphic Novel ever to win a Hugo Award and the only Graphic Novel to be listed as one of the 100 best English-language novels of all time by Time Magazine.

The WATCHMEN is a twelve-issue comic book limited series written by Alan Moore (Swamp Thing, League of Extra-Ordinary Gentlemen, V for Vendetta), illustrated by Dave Gibbons (Doctor Who) and published by DC Comics.

Set in 1985, in an alternate history of the United States where costumed superheroes are real and are part of everyday society and the nation is on the verge to a nuclear war with the Soviet Union, as the Doomsday Clock keep ticking to midnight - the race of time is on.

The story introduces a new perspective of taking away the idea of the conventional superheroes archetype. It tells of superheroes; as real people who are vulnerable to pain, their struggle to confront ethical and personal issues, and their failures.

This group of masked vigilantes are still in theaters, so catch them if you can;), directed by Zack Snyder (“300”), from a screenplay of David Hayter and Alex Tse, a presentation of Warner Bros Pictures and Paramount Pictures.
