Trying to be a Plantito | Unboxing Lazada Order | Indoor Plants

And why not! Lol.

Because the world is in lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, travels and other outdoor activities are no longer possible.

So aside from online shopping, people these days are spending more of their time growing a garden or just simply putting up a new plant for home improvement purposes.

Hence the term plantito or plantita emerged. Plantita or plantito is an amalgam of plants and Tito or Tita (uncle/auntie), respectively refers to proud plant parents.

Of course, we see the viral Instagram post of Jinkee Pacquiao with her famous giant "Badyang" (alocasia macrorrhiza) or giant taro or elephant ear plant. And accept it, she is a subject of envy. Mapa sanaol ka na lang di ba? Lol.

And when it comes to trending topics, I tell you I am in the front row. Lol. These past few months being in quarantine - online has become a new normal for me from banking, bills, streaming, buying food, and not to miss the crème de la crème of online activities - online shopping.

Recently I have ordered plants from Lazada. I have been longing to buy plants online because it's hard to find during this time. I used to go to Saint Peter's church here in Commonwealth because there are stalls that offer plants with cheap price tags.

Buying online for a plants worries me because you are dealing with live plants to be delivered by rowdy couriers. Lol.

But then again, how should I know if I won't try it. If it won't turn in a way I wanted it to be? Then maybe just charged it to experience. I mean, it is better to love than to never love at all. Oh, hugot. Lol.

Now, ever wonder how online plants sellers packed their ordered purchases?

Worry no more? I have made an effort to do an unboxing for you to be convinced that buying plants online is legit and not something to be afraid of. Here's the video to see for your selves.
