Unboxing | Fiddle-leaf Fig Tree, A Plantito Journey #FiddleLeafTree

I'm seriously getting into being a plantito! Lol. I love scouting for plants online these days, searching for the best deals I can find. Life at work hasn't been motivating these past couple of weeks.

I want a new hobby to calm and clear my mind. Lol.

So, I've started growing indoor plants. It's satisfying to see them grow lovely as days go by. The fiddle-leaf fig tree is one of the houseplants I'm dying to have. It is pricey, yes, but the visual it gives your home is something you need when you're at your lowest. Lol.

I've been switching between Shopee and Lazada lately. Not to mention the 12.12 events are coming, so many deals are quite tempting.

I found one on Lazada. It's the cheapest fiddle-leaf fig tree I could find. At Php 1,700, I had to go and get it.

The fiddle-leaf fig tree is native to Western Africa and naturally grows in a lowland rainforest environment. It's one of the hottest plants for plantitos and plantitas alike. Its stunning shiny violin-shaped leaves are a gorgeous architectural statement in any room of the house.

But it can be hard to keep this beauty alive. For one, they hate drafts, and while they like it moist, they also hate being over-watered. Yeah, they don't like wet and soggy.

They need to be placed in the right spot, or they will be gone for good. Lol. They prefer VERY bright but filtered light. Can you imagine the attitude? They love it bright but don't want it coming from direct sunlight.

Now, are you ready to have a fiddle-leaf fig tree yet?

I got an unboxing video for you. Come join me as I unleash the beauty within.
