Traveling is now a 'must-have' to almost everyone these days. Most people are getting aroused (lol) with just the idea of having a long weekend. Never mind if you are single. Lol. The thing these days is traveling, it's in everyone's bucket list.
One would save the entire year for their dream vacation or getaway. Everyone is keeping an eye on airlines with promo seats. And what is it that one thing you needed when traveling? Oh, you are an old school dude. Cameras, tripods it's so yesterday.
The drone is the new big thing when it comes to traveling. Want to impress your Instagram followers? Then, use a drone. Feast their eyes with that jaw-dropping bird-eye photos.
And now speaking of a drone. I got one but it's the cheapest in the market. Lol. It's called DJI Tello Quadcopter Drone. Other DJI drones are too expensive for beginners.
For beginners, this toy is a good choice. It has a decent flight time with plenty of features. Tello is the end product of the collaboration of DJI and Ryze. If you are into drones for sure the names sound familiar. Tello is feature-rich, compact and the best value for your money at $100.
Here are the key features of a Tello Quadcopter.
- Size: 3.86 x 3.64 x 1.61 inches (9.80 x 9.25 x 4.10 cm)
- Weight 80gr including battery.
- Fly time 13 minutes.
- Battery 3.8V 1100mAh. Range 100m.
- Antennae Dual system for smart switching.
- Camera 5MP.
- Video 720p at 30 fps with EIS.
Decent enough for something that is less than $100. Obviously, the range is not you can enjoy but there is a way to widen it. A WIFI extender will do the trick. Also, the video quality is limited to 720p but unless you are a hardcore vblogger. This thing is a good start.
And one thing that stands out about the Tello drone is that they have made it super easy to fly. If you have never flown a drone before then it is good to assume you are safe with the Tello and you will pick it up quickly. For experienced pilots, there are plenty of advanced features that will keep you entertained.
So get that backpack ready and let's go. Lol. Happy flying.
